Overview

It is the primary responsibility of the Busperson to work in conjunction with Food Servers to ensure outstanding guest service is constantly achieved while retrieving tables from Hotel floors and returning them to the Room Service dish room. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.
 
Specific Job Functions:
 
·         Clear, clean and sanitize entire Room Service tables, including legs, and reset with   
          clean salt & pepper shakers, linens, votive candles, flowers and any additional tabletop 
           items needed
·         Pick up and return dirty dishes, glassware and utensils from Hotel landings / floors and 
           return to the dish room 
·         Constantly communicate with Servers, Dispatcher and Management to ensure tables are
          returned efficiently
·         Polish flatware
·         Report any equipment malfunctions to management immediately
·         Serve water, coffee and soft drinks when needed
·         Work with server to ensure proper guest service
·         Assist with delivery of food orders as needed
·         Ensure outlet floors are clean and free of debris
·         Retrieve orders from warehouse and restocks storeroom
·         Assist with the cleanliness and restocking of side stations
·         Rotate stock to ensure proper rotation
·         Ensure lost and found articles are immediately turned into Management
·         Assist with stocking equipment & supplies
·         Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department

Responsibilities/Qualifications

·         Previous Busperson experience preferred
·         Communicate effectively in English both verbally and written forms
·         Professional appearance and demeanor a must
